Your Mission
The Multi-skilled Worker takes part in a wide range of shipbuilding, repair, and maintenance tasks: hull cleaning, painting, pumping, cleaning, minor repairs, and assisting specialized workers. Through their versatility, they help ensure the smooth progress of docking, launching, and ship maintenance operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform hull cleaning operations (high-pressure washing, underwater hull cleaning).
- Prepare and treat surfaces (sandblasting, sanding, degreasing, applying anti-rust, antifouling, or silicone coatings).
- Carry out painting tasks on vessels and equipment.
- Assist with pumping and degassing operations (setup, monitoring, testing).
- Handle cleaning and waste collection across the shipyard.
- Take part in plumbing maintenance tasks (installation, repair, pipe connections).
- Support skilled workers (mechanics, sheet metal workers, electricians) during interventions.
- Follow safety instructions and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
Working Conditions
- Varied work environments: outdoors and indoors (dock, dry dock, workshop).
- Exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and physically demanding postures.
- Good physical condition required (lifting, awkward positions).
- Potential work in confined spaces and at height.
- Tools and protective equipment provided by the company.
Profile Required
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of painting, cleaning, and surface treatment.
- Some understanding of mechanics, plumbing, or manual trades.
- Ability to use basic tools and equipment (spray guns, pumps, torches).
- Awareness of HSE rules and safety guidelines.
Personal Qualities:
- Versatility and adaptability.

- Physical endurance and stress resistance.
Required Training:
- No specific diploma or prior experience required.
- Experience in shipyards or manual labor is an advantage.
