Since 2001, the CNOI has established itself as a major player in shipbuilding and ship repair in the Indian Ocean. Initially focused on the local market, the shipyard quickly expanded internationally, becoming a trusted partner of the French Navy.

Our history is marked by key milestones - including the launch of a 130-meter dry dock and the installation of one of the most powerful strap boat lifts in the world.

Ship repair, across all trades

diesel mechanics (up to 8,000 HP), deck machinery, metalwork, electrical systems, painting, hydraulics, industrial piping, refrigeration, marine carpentry, handling, sheet metal work, insulation, and machining.

Newbuild construction

steel or aluminium hulls, technical structures, interior outfitting, and custom-built modules.

Maintenance during port calls

fast-response interventions, dedicated project teams, and optimized coordination between specialized departments.

Technical trading, centralized on site

Yanmar and Baudouin engines, Schottel propulsion systems, Hempel, Altex, and Jotun marine coatings, as well as spare parts and marine consumables.

Approved service stations

including the VIKING Life-Saving Equipment station, for the inspection and servicing of safety and life-saving equipment.

• 5.6 hectares of working area, including 7,500 m² of covered workshops
• 370 meters of fully equipped quay
• Machining towers up to 12 meters for oversized parts
• On-site specialized workshops (machining, painting, mechanics, electrical, carpentry, etc.)

Twelve specialized departments work together daily in a cross-functional structure. This organization ensures direct management, smooth communication, and full control of project timelines.

You don’t need to coordinate multiple contractors — you interact with a single dedicated project manager.
