In 2016, the CNOI invested in a 25-meter oceanographic vessel that can accommodate 14 passengers and 6 crew members. The Curieuse is therefore a multifunctional vessel allowing to carry out scientific missions (Kerguelen Archipelago, Reunion Island, Madagascar ...) but also to offer excursions around Mauritius and in the Indian Ocean (Saint Brandon).
